on music - the true panacea..??

Life is all about joining the different disjoint parts. Some bitter some sweet - its absolutely inescapable. No matter who you are, or where you come from, or what your desires and ambitions may be, a point comes where we are forced to question the reason of our existence. Do i have any?? Thats one of the unanswered ones in my head.

In this context, music is also no different. What a musician essentially does is joins the notes (which is common knowledge) and the more elegant and aesthetic he is, the more beautiful the outcome becomes. I have always believed that music has a soul of its own. Being a product of human mind, it is theoretically infinite - permutations and combinations will always yield something new. It incorporates within its purview all the variegated emotions of our day to day existence. It can be a healer when one is down and be a balm to the gravest injuries. So is it not fair to conclude that the spread of music can actually cure our society from a lot of its discontended souls ?? I would surely like to see this happening in real life.
