putting on new shoes

sometimes i am induced to think how difficult it might be to put on new shoes. Apart from the cuts and bruises do we gain anything from it? Well as it says - no pain no gain. So unless we try the new we are blatantly unaware of what it could put us through. Well as for me, things have changed far beyond the imaginable. How i miss those midnight discussions and conversations on basically anything under the sun, sometimes serious and at other times flippant. Sitting together, having breakfast, lunch and dinner together on almost all of the days, brings people real close. And now there is a void of some sorts, something that cannot be filled. But life goes on u see, a turn here and a turn there, its like a vehicle on full throttle without brakes, one only has the steering wheel under one's control. So lets enjoy the monsoons before it dries up.
